The "In The Truth" Sacred Cow

        A common saying and identification among the Churches of God are the words, "in the truth."  In their fellowship and communication with each other,  the "special" words, "in the truth," are spoken quite often. They will say, "when did you come into the truth," or "how did you come into the truth," or "who was it that led you to understand "the truth," or come to be, "in the truth?" This "in the truth" saying, is accepted to be as an identification tag among themselves  who believe, that they alone, have this "special" understanding of truth and only they have the truth to be saved. They believe this "in the truth" understanding that was given to them by their  special pastor, will assure them their place of salvation in God's Kingdom. However, if this "in the truth" understanding is not based on the the truth of the Scripture and is not fundamentally sound or doctrinal sound and is not the teaching of truth from Scripture then it can becomes a sacred cow, an image or idol of worship. This sacred cow idol  will not deliver them but instead will end up cursing and bringing evil and great harm upon  its worshippers.

        A "sacred cow" is an idol or image, real or imaginary, that is worshipped as  representing God and Jesus Christ, or  the teaching and worship of a system of false beliefs and lies represented as truth coming from them. Webster's Dictionary defines a "sacred cow" as an idol that is worshipped, and is immune to any criticism, and is above attack. An idol or image that  has been created in the mind or heart of its worshippers is very difficult to expose. Why? It is because the sacred cow's supported teachings are believed to be based on the sacred Word of Scripture, and is so accepted to be the truth without its worshippers willingess to study out its teachings to see if those teachings really are the truth. This means no amount of truth from God, Jesus Christ, Their Word and Spirit, or a true messenger of Theirs, who reveals the true understanding of His Word, can have little or no effect in exposing, or laying bare the sins, the deception, the lies, or heresies of the idol, or its idolatrous worship unless they can overcome  and rise above the sacred cow's watch dogs  and protectors (its ministers) and look into the scripture and study it for themselves. All religions, including Christianity, have created sacred cows in their worship. They have created spiritual mountains, and built religious walls with believed to be scripture  and ministers to protect and guard their newly, acccepted idols, its teaching, its faith, and its believed to be "truth" of the worship of their  "sacred cow" idol. This idol is further protected by their statement if any of their midst departs from the worship of its teachings, that person is lost and is said to part of the falling away from truth spoken of in II Thes. 2:3.

         The imaginary "sacred cow" and its worship, is first begun in the interest and sincerity of people desiring and to hear  truth  from God's Word proclaimed by a pastor or preacher, who seemingly  is revealing God's way and truth about salvation, and who seems to  desire to lead  his followers into all truth. Some man, or professed to be shepherd, or pastor comes along preaching and teaching certain truths of God's Word along with other foundational teachings that are accepted and perceived as truth but are not proved  by truth seekers as really being the truth due to their ignorance of what the Scripture really does say and teach. This professed to be "God's true shepherd", who himself is ignorant of God's Word as well as what is God's work but for one reason or the other begins to build a work  based on restoring the gospel and restoring the government of God, which he calls the "work of God". This "work of God"  is the foundation of this "in the truth" idol. The foundation of the idol is based on the accepted truth of this pastor's understanding  about restoring the Gospel and government of God as being God's truth and command to the church.

         Due to the beginning Bibical ignorance of  God's sheep and their lack of real study and proving as truth seekers they are drawn into the pasture of the beginning work of this sacred cow. As this minister and "great" revealer of the truth of God contiunes to preach messages seemingly from God's Word, he begins to exalt himself before  his people and lets the people know that he believes he is God's mouth piece. People come to believe  that he is and that he has been "special anointed" of God. At this point this "great" shepherd becomes so great in the hearts and minds of the people, that their trust, confidence and faith in him grows to the point of worship, reverence, and veneration for him as an idol based on all the information (he claims is God inspired) they have come to accept from him as truth. Their honor, and respect, and exalted praise of him becomes greater than the worship of God the Father, and Jesus Christ. He becomes so exalted, and such a great one among them, that the proving of what he teaches about God, God's Work, the gospel, church government, being spiritually reborn, becomes no longer a need and necessary, due in part to the believer's continuing Bibical ignorance, and lack of their individual work of proving and Scriptural testing by God's Word.

        Christ's warning to beware  of false prophets, and the leavennig of Pharisees (religious leaders) does not seem to have  to apply or need to heeded by these sacred cow worshippers, because of their ego and vanity of indoctrined hearts and minds that "we only have the truth and we cannot be deceived." In fact, this great one, and his special appointed men, who he has appointed as evangelists and elders and who has been trained at his colleges have become his special sacred cow guardians. He and his men at this point, will condemn and severely correct anyone of  their begotten followers to the point of disfellowship, who will question him, or them "as being God's appointed messengers and reavealers of truth, and the great restorers of Christ's teachings or question any of their "in the truth" teachings.  

        The church government structure, that he has created within his organization, and with the help of his, appointed evangelists and elders, creates a unity among his church people, and church organization, that is based on fear, tyranny, and verbal abuse to the point that if any person leaves the pasture of that organization, this lost sheep is preached to the rest of the church that he has lost his salvation, thereby creating greater fear and trepidation among the  other brethren to not leave that pasture. It like  a shepherd cutting the hoof of one of his sheep so in his cripled condition they will not dare go to any other pasture.This church government helps to keep the unity and uniformity in their church to keep highly exalted its sacred cow "in the truth" teaching. Also, any person that   associates with the disfellowshipped, is also disfellowshipped. If any member, who begins to raise question, or dares to expose any of the lies, heresies, and errors of their teaching, or member abuse which supports their church government rule, and discipline,  or the bits of truth that is supported by lies, which began   their  church and work, called God's work, is also disfellowshipped. This lost sheep is marked for life, and preached to be headed for gehenna fire, unless this "rebellious" member or members repents to the ministry of their Satanic working. In this way the sacred cow and wall of protection against disunity continues to work a great work  of Satan for a time.

         The Churches of God, and their fellowship groups, are much divided, and split up into various organizations, and are becoming  more and more confused, by being tossed to and fro with many different, doctrinal teachings. However, most still believe they all are the true ecclesia of God, or the only true, called and chosen, sons of God even though they are divided, disunified, hating one another and becoming more uncertain of just what they do believe, with each new split. They still pride themselves as having been given the "Plain Truth," pertaining to all of God's word, and only "they" still preach the True Gospel of Christ's Word, which they teach has not been preached for centuries. These church people and its leaders, consisting of its church appointed apostles, evangelists, and elders, all speak with great pride of their "in the truth" understanding and restoration of the Gospel. They  also speak of having restored understanding of God's laws and commandments and true conversion, and with great pride they speak of only them knowing the "in the truth" way to salvation. This proposed to be truths is given to them  by their "great" pastor and his evangelists, and elders who gives them special relationship with God the Father, and Jesus Christ, that they believe no other church has. Question? Why does Christ not protect a certain remaining part of the church from Satan and his war against them,  yet  all were commandment keepers and had the testimony of Jesus Christ, Rev. 12:17. Is there something missing in all of the "in the truth" teaching, something, say like the truth?

        Their leaders, and their members, pride themselves as having restored the truths of God's Word. However, if any of them, or any thinking person, would check out their "in the truth, sacred cow, teachings and worship," one can and will prove by God's Word, that most of "their restored truths" are errors, heresies, and abominable lies. One will find instead of being the true, spiritual body of Jesus Christ, that is founded on Christ and Christ's truth, and His Spirit, that they are not the spiritual body of Jesus Christ, because Jesus Christ is not in them. They are so filled with pride, having big egos, and needing nothing in the way of truth. They don't realize they are just another fleshly  "church" body, that is following the flesh, and the product of the synagogue of Satan. Anyone of them that desired truth, or dared to seek the truth and stand up for the truth, has long since left, or been kicked out, or disfellowshipped from their church fellowship. Only the ones that are holding fast to their sacred cow apostacy  that is preached to be restored truth, which is founded and supported by lies and heresies, and who are entertained weekly by the arm of the flesh sermons, only they still remain in the synagogue of Satan or the church of god as they like to refer to  themselves.

Restored Truths, or heresies, lies, and Sins

          One of the great truths of understanding that these "in the truth" sacred cow  leaders and believers pride themselves as having restored, is the truth about the True Gospel. They recite the Words of Jesus Christ, that He came to preach the Gospel of the Kingdom of God, Mat. 4:17,23. However, these Words of Christ are taught by them to mean; Christ preached the "Gospel of the Coming Kingdom of God," and this  is further defined as the "Gospel of the Coming Government of God."  In other words, they preach the gospel, that Christ's main focused mission was to restore the government of God to His church. That is a lie and not the truth. Please check this challenge out with your Bible! No where in the Word of Christ's, and the  apostle's messages, can one find the words of any of them as preaching, "the Gospel of the Coming Kingdom of God," or the "Gospel of the coming Government of God," or that Christ's gospel was to restore the government of God. It is just not there or any where in His Word.

        It is true that God's Kingdom is coming to the earth, and is to be set up over the earth,  but God's Kingdom coming will initially come as God's judgment over the whole earth and that will not be good news but bad news to all the earth's inhibitants. Never was the Gospel ever spoken of as the Gospel message of "the  coming Kingdom of God." The preaching of the coming government of God Gospel focuses the  unconverted church people's attention on  government, power, and authority and domain, climbing the hierarchial ladder,  and not  Christ as Savior. Christ's true Gospel of the Kingdom of God, was the message that Christ came from God's Kingdom, as the Son of the Living God, and to die as the Sacrifice and Savior for mankind. Why is it then, that they preach a government focused gospel, that focuses the church's attention on their power and authority as overlords over the brethren, which is another gospel and a lie about Christ's  true Gospel? It really is idolatry putting God's government and domain before the Father and Jesus Christ.Why did Jesus Christ continually correct His disciples in His day because of their believing His coming  to the earth and message was to restore the government of God. Because unconverted men like power and authority over people and Christ's disciples were still unconverted at that time of Christ correcting them and their believed to be government Gospel.

        The true Gospel of Jesus Christ and the Good News of the Kingdom of God is this: Jesus Christ was sent from the Father and their Kingdom of God to live in the flesh on earth and to suffer and die for man  by the shedding of His blood, to give His life in sacrifice for man and his sins, to fulfil the penalty for sin. Every sinner, who repents of breaking God's law, all God's commandments will be forgiven of his breaking God's commandments, and be given God's Spirit and salvation, by man's accepting Christ and His sacrifice. This is the Gospel of the Kingdom of God and to preach as truth, another "focused gospel," such as, the coming government, or Kingdom of God," is not truth, but a lie, and idolatry, and perverts the Gospel of Christ!

        "This gospel message that focuses on government with power and authority" lays the foundation for the creation of the "in the truth" sacred cow idol! A wall of protection has been built around their idol and its creator,  with ministers as its guardians, with tons of literature and messages preaching about it and all of God's misused tithes, misused in supporting "their perverted gospel," which simply is another gospel. The churches of God plainly claim, through their Plain Truth literature, that Christ and His sacrifice is not the focus of the Gospel. This is an abominable lie, and heresy, and not the truth, and constitutes the sin of idolatry, that all of the "sacred cow" leaders and followers willl have to repent of committing in their part of corrupting Christ's Gospel, if they expect to be accepted by christ, and to inherit God's Kingdom.

         Another heresy and lie of this "sacred cow" idol that perpetuates its "in the truth" worship, is their false teaching about  restoring a hierarchial government within the church. This false teaching is taught as truth that God governs His brethren through church created hierarchy within the church and is built on their foundation of their perverted gospel, the "coming government of God." They teach that God governs and rules over the sheep of His pasture through a church heirarchy of ministers. These are ministers that are appointed by their own leaders to offices of rank and power, by man's authority as overlords, and having dominion  over brethren's faith.

        These highly, exalted and man appointed offices of their church created government totally annuls, makes void, and scraps the plain truth of what Christ teaches  in His Word and demands of His ministers, that they are not to be overlords by exercising dominion over the brethren's faith, and their salvation. As Paul plainly stated in II Cor. 1:24, Paul said he came to the church "not for that we have dominion over your faith, but are helpers of your joy for by faith you stand!"

         In Matthew 20:25, Christ also plainly says the ministers of  His are not to be lords over, as overlords, to exercise dominion and authority over the brethren, as the gentile world, and their government have power and authority over people.  Christ's plain truth says in verse 26, "But it shall not be so among you: but whosoever will be great among you, let him be your servant." These heirarchial ministers instead of teaching the plain truth of these verses, run to Hebrews 13: 17, 24, where they believe that they have a Scripture to support their teaching and examples as overlords. They believe the word "rule over" here in these verses, gives them permission from Christ to be overlords, masters (Mr. for short) instead of  its true meaning as being overseers, and leaders, who lead by example and "watch for your souls." These verses are about men who teach truth, not lies"who have spoken you the Word of God: (not the word of man) whose faith follow, considering their conduct," based on Christ's authority, and not lies that is  based on man's authority as to what God's Word says. These verses in no way give  authority to a heirarchial, church government structure, to be God's truth as is taught by their church leaders. This is just one more lie to add to the creation of their sacred cow of apostasy of Christ's Word.

         Anyone who can still think for themselves can begin to see how this "sacred cow" of the "in the truth" image or idol of worship was shaped and created! First, it began with a false foundation, based on the deception of  accepting a perverted gospel, a church government-gospel, that focuses on authority and power to rule, not a Christ-focused Gospel about salvation. This lie gives them a foundation, to build a structured framework, to add to the lie that the church was restore God's government, to build a hierarchial church government and to  administer that power and authority over the church people by a church  centralized government, or hierarchy. This was preached as carrying out God's comission of restoring God's government which was another lie. Again, no where in God's Word can you find the command of Jesus Christ "to restore God's government." This "sacred cow" structure now gives them authority and power over the brethren's faith and salvation,  which in reality are the same evil works or deed of the Nicolaitanes which God says He hates. This power and authority sets these church leaders up as being God's "revealers" and God's ordained "givers" and God's "restorers" of all truth, and that any truth from Christ can not come from any other source, but only from them and their special shephard idol leader who is their idol creator. Now, as this idol is established in their heart, the church brethren are expected to accept all that they teach as truth, and any brethren who opposed them and their "in the truth" teaching would be severely corrected and even disfellowshipped. Thus a mighty wall is built to protect their idol and sacred cow with dedicated guardians to guard their lies, and who will resist and cast off all exposers of their idol and sacred cow.

        As each church supporter, now called co-worker, continues to send to its idol special shepherd, and idol "work of God" their gold (tithes and offerings) the co-workers can  be baptised and become a member in good standing to the church's "work of God." After repentance and baptism one is now able to fellowship and associate with its body. Repentance and conversion is taught by them as to mean submission to their church governemnt and to repent of breaking God's commandments as they dictate as seen through their eyes.
