FROM SINNER TO SAINT

WHICH ONE ARE YOU-A SINNER OR SAINT? Do you really know the difference? You are definitely one or the other! Saint is a word used in the Bible to describe a real Christian--a believer in Jesus Christ and has accepted Christ's life saving message for salvation. A sinner is a breaker of God's law, that's headed for death and destruction, and not all that interested in salvation, and especially if he knows he must change his life of living by the flesh, to begin a life living by the spirit, by obeying God's 10 commandments-God's law of love.

A true saint knows and has fulfilled the requirements of Christ's teachings, to become a true saint and who now stands blameless, set aside for His holy purpose, with his eternal salvation secured unless he begins to give  in to sin, its seductions and the unlawful desires of the flesh.

However, most all so-called Christians today are deceived, thinking they are saints, but are nothing more than badly deceived sinners. These deceived, professed, Christians believe that by wearing a Christian's garment of show of attending "church" services,  professing the name of Jesus Christ and living a life of good by their own standard, not God's 10 commandments, that all this makes them a Christian or Saint, but who nonetheless, will have to face the fiery trial of the great tribulation to awaken them, to open their eyes to see their blindness, in order to see their deception and sins before they can be converted to a saint. Study Saul's, (Paul's) example of having to be blinded, Acts 9:4-18, to see his sins for his conversion, to become a saint, and other men who professed to be of God, and thought they could see but still had their sin, John 9:39-41.

In order to become a saint, one must turn from being a sinner!  What is a sinner? The dictionary says one who sins--a wrong doer, but what is a wrong doer? It seems no one would dare read the Bible to see what God says about what constitutes a sinner and get meaning and understanding of what is sin. All religions have their own opinions of what sin is, but will not believe or follow the Bible. God's own breathed and inspired Word gives the definition of what is sin, what is a sinner and what is a saint. God Himself, His own inspired Word, not man's but God speaking through the pen of John, tells us in I John 3:4 what is a sinner, and what is sin...."Whosoever commits sin transgresses the law (the law of God is His Ten Commandments) for sin is the transgression of the law."

So, a sinner is one that transgresses God's law. That law is The 10 Commandments, given with  the detailing statutes that give clarity and detail to God's 10 Commandments. The statutes help every saint to know each commandment's complete spiritual definition that are set in love, which Christ continually expounded and related to throughout His entire ministry, and taught a saint is to be obedient to all of His commandments, Mat.19:17-21, John 14:15,21, Mark 7:7-13. No, not just seven, eight or nine of them, but all of The Ten Commandments, yes including the fourth, because Christ says He is Lord of the SABBATH, Mark 2:28, and He says also, if you are breaking any one of His commandments you are breaking them all, James 2:10-11. Keeping all of God's 10 commandments bears the fruit of love to God and neighbor, and if you breaking any one of them, you are creating a breach of God's love between you and Him. This creates a breakdown in communication, a loss of His blessings, a loss of His favor and grace and a breach of contract or covenant--rejecting the blood and sacrifice of Jesus Christ, which will bring death, Heb. 10:29.

Most all so-called and professed to be Christians today have not experienced true conversion and faith in salvation, or saving faith. The reason is, they do not have God's Spirit, and that is because they have not submitted to God's commands  of  true repentance, to become converted, faith in Christ and accepting His sacrifice, baptism-burying the old man, and the laying on of hands to receive God's Spirit, Acts 2:38, 3:19-20, 8:17, 19:6. They have not deeply repented of breaking God's 10 Commandments (all of them) including the Holy Sabbath (Saturday) the 7th day, not the 1st day, Sunday( a work day) so today's religious beliefs of believing they have been saved has not been accepted in heaven, but disallowed, and  all the confessing of a Christ in public saying "it is so good to know the Lord" is all in vain. But won't many at the judgment day try to argue with Christ and tell Him, "We preached in Your Name, had many evangelistic works and church works and even sent missionaries out all in Your Name, and have done many other works in Your Name," and Christ will say to them, "Depart from Me, you that work iniquity," Mat. 7:22-23. Iniquity is the teaching of no law-no commandment keeping-requirement, and having to obey God's law in salvation. When you don't teach all the law, that all the commandments are to be kept, you are guilty of sin-iniquity, and this teaching will produce more sin and iniquity, James 2:10-11. Jesus Christ and His apostles  taught all the law,and commands His followers today to do the same, Mat. 5:18-19.

God means what He says in His Word!  Repent means repent, total repentance, producing  fruit suitable of repentance, not a half-way repentance or being a half-way Saint-Christian with repentance that is a momentary, emotional remorse, or sorrow,  or just overcoming some bad and dirty habit, but a complete house-cleaning of the heart, mind and attitude, having a deep desire to do what God says to do-to change what God says change in one's life. This is a true conversion that Christ desires in us, and taking the stand for His Name, to be converted to a Saint. Christ said that He suffered and you must be willing to suffer intimidation, be ostracized, be falsely accused, called a cult, legalistic, and whatever else people will do  and say to try to bring you back into main-stream, deceived Christianity. Your true conversion to becoming a saint, magnifies their sins and they must get back at you in some way by calling you a cult or accusing you as having some weird religion, Mat.5:10-12. Your true conversion to become a saint can cause your family and fellowship associations to become your foes-your enemies and resulting in a break in friendship, Mat 10:35-36. These put-downs, persecutions, name-calling, and accusing you without a good cause,  is one of the proofs you are either a saint, or on the path to becoming a saint. Remember they hated Christ without a cause, John 15:25.

The vast majority of all professing Christians have not received God's Holy Spirit-the power to help them live the Christian life.   They are still sinners, without the power of God in them, that could help them resist temptations of sin, overcome the pulls of the flesh, guard the doors of their precious mind and conscience and fight off a real Satan with his deceptive snares, religious traps and seducing situations. II Tim. 3:5 says...In the last days, people will have a form of religion but deny the power to help them change. That power is available, but only by the way and by the method God laid out, and not any other way. That power in a Christian provides Christ's method of Him making His abode in a Christian, through His mind and the way He lived while on this earth, and will continue to live in that Christian (saint) by this-His method, and not by any of man's erroneous ways or false teachings, Gal 1:8 and followings of the flesh-gospels of men.

Are you a saint or sinner? Can you now examine yourself and know? It is easy to know if you study God's Word and follow it, but if you follow the religious teachings of today's religions, you will only be confused, discouraged and led astray into a deception of a false salvation. Christ says unless people repent, they shall all perish, even the so-called "good people" as they recognize themselves and  as are recognized by society, because all are sinners and  all have sinned. Every one must repent or perish, and everyone must come to be righteous, the  way God says you become righteous, to become a saint and to inherit life, or perish in the judgment. All other righteousness is self righteousness, and Christ said He did not come to call the righteous (meaning the self-righteous) but sinners to repentance and to be saints, ones who can recognize their blindness, but now can see their sins and will repent, Luke 13:3-5, Luke 5:32, John 9:41. Christ said there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repents, Luke 15:10. This nation is coming under the judgment of God. Will you be in that judgment, or will you be spared because you repented, and became a true saint of God????
